Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key quantum technology projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. You’ll collaborate with engineering, research, and business teams to drive progress, including potential aerospace applications, contributing to our groundbreaking approach to quantum computing. This position offers the chance to influence the next generation of quantum innovation, supporting our licensing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and management of quantum computing projects, focusing on scalability and timely delivery.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (research, architecture, systems, design, product engineering, validation, and implementation) to ensure project milestones are met and resources are optimized.

  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.

  • Collaborate with technical and business units to align projects with patent and licensing goals.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and effective project execution.

Requirements

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (PMP or equivalent certification preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology or aerospace industries.

  • Proven expertise in managing complex, multidisciplinary projects with a focus on scalability and delivery.

  • Strong understanding of quantum technology applications and project coordination requirements.

  • Experience with interdisciplinary teams and a track record of delivering successful project outcomes.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Skills


  • Familiarity with quantum computing or photonic/trapped-ion technologies.

  • Knowledge of aerospace project management or quantum simulations for scientific discovery.

  • Experience with intellectual property projects or ITAR compliance, particularly for licensing initiatives.

Recruitment Process

  • Application Review: Applications received by July 10, 2025, will be reviewed starting July 15, 2025. Candidates will be notified within 5 business days if shortlisted.

  • Initial Interview: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a 30-minute virtual interview with the hiring manager, scheduled within 10 business days of notification, to discuss experience and fit.

  • Technical Assessment: Selected candidates will complete a take-home project plan (estimated 4-6 hours) within 7 business days, focusing on resource and timeline management.

  • Final Interview: Top candidates will attend a 1-hour panel interview with the project and business teams, scheduled within 5 business days of assessment submission, to evaluate leadership and cultural alignment.

  • Offer: Successful candidates can expect a verbal offer within 3 business days of the final interview, followed by a written offer and contract negotiation.

  • Timeline: The process aims to conclude by August 01, 2025, with flexibility based on candidate availability.
