
Job Description
As a Senior IP Manager, you’ll oversee the development and execution of intellectual property strategies to safeguard our quantum technology innovations. You’ll collaborate with technical and business teams to secure patents and drive licensing opportunities, including potential aerospace applications, contributing to our groundbreaking approach to quantum computing. Responsibilities
Lead the development and management of intellectual property strategies to protect quantum technology innovations.
Coordinate with patent attorneys to file and prosecute patent applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Negotiate and manage licensing agreements with industry partners, including aerospace sectors.
Provide expertise in IP portfolio management, contributing to patentable innovations and licensing strategies.
Foster a culture of innovation and strategic IP development.
Requirements
Qualifications
JD or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in intellectual property law, preferably in technology or aerospace industries.
Proven expertise in patent prosecution, licensing negotiations, and IP portfolio management.
Strong understanding of quantum technology applications and their intellectual property implications.
Experience with interdisciplinary teams and a track record of delivering strategic IP solutions.
Excellent negotiation and legal analysis skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with quantum computing or photonic/trapped-ion technologies.
Knowledge of aerospace industry IP standards or quantum simulations for scientific discovery.
Experience with international patent filings or ITAR compliance, particularly for licensing initiatives.

Recruitment Process
Application Review: Applications received by July 10, 2025, will be reviewed starting July 15, 2025. Candidates will be notified within 5 business days if shortlisted.
Initial Interview: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a 30-minute virtual interview with the hiring manager, scheduled within 10 business days of notification, to discuss experience and fit.
Technical Assessment: Selected candidates will complete a take-home IP strategy analysis (estimated 4-6 hours) within 7 business days, focusing on patent and licensing concepts.
Final Interview: Top candidates will attend a 1-hour panel interview with the legal and business teams, scheduled within 5 business days of assessment submission, to evaluate IP expertise and cultural alignment.
Offer: Successful candidates can expect a verbal offer within 3 business days of the final interview, followed by a written offer and contract negotiation.
Timeline: The process aims to conclude by August 01, 2025, with flexibility based on candidate availability.
